Douglas Malton currently serves as CFO of InnovaCare Health. He served in a number of senior management roles at Aveta, Inc. from the company’s founding in 2004, including Director and VP of Business Development, VP of Finance and most recently as CFO until its sale in 2012.
From 2012 to 2021, Malton served as CFO of MMM Healthcare, Puerto Rico’s largest and oldest Medicare Advantage (MA) plan. Under InnovaCare leadership, the plan grew to $3.5 billion in revenue and became the ninth-largest MA plan in the country. In 2021, MMM was purchased by Anthem Inc.
Prior to serving at Aveta, Malton was a member of the Straus Group where he focused on investing in the healthcare services sector. Prior to that, he spent more than seven years as an investment banker with Citigroup and Oppenheimer where he concentrated on debt and equity capital markets and mergers and acquisitions.
Malton received his bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from the University of New Hampshire and his Master of Science in Genetics from the University of Connecticut
